On April 26th 2014, at the Guesthouse of Daklak Committee, had a workshop: Assessment the impact of component A – under Agriculture Competitiveness Project in Daklak ( ACP Daklak). This project was sponsored by the World Bank.

The purpose of the workshop is reviewing the results and limitations, existing in the process of project implementation, proposing effective model to implement the next steps of the project.
Participants included: Mr. Huỳnh Quốc Thích deputy director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak Province. Mr Nguyen Quang Thu, deputy director of ACP Dak Lak. Mr Nguyễn Thanh Tâm, Deputy Director Community Development Co.,Ltd (CDC), Dr Y Ghê, chairman of the Daklak Science Union, representatives of organizations and companies, the partners involved in Daklak Agricultural Competitiveness Project  - ACP Daklak.

At the workshop, Mr Nguyễn Thanh Tâm, Deputy Director of Community Development Center CDC presented about the results of two Packages:
- CN14 HPA1 (Transfering the general technical measures to save input cost for coffee) and
- CN18 HPA2 (Transfering the model household coffee production to certified coffee production) 

The result of Package 1: 
- CDC has successfully developed on 9 demonstration models of coffee production towards saving cost investment (saving of approximately 11.4% compared  investment as custom of farmers and the icreasing rate of profit model is 29.4%). Technical training for 134 extension staff through ToT training and more than 800 farmers benefited from this topic.
- Complete the process of transfering the general technical measures to save input cost for coffee in Dak Lak, approved by DARD.
The results of Package 2:
- CDC has successfully developed 9 demonstration models of coffee production towards the sustainable way as Rainforest Alliance standards in Dak Lak Province.

At the workshop, Mr. Huynh Quoc Thich, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province appreciated the achievements that the organizations and companies involved in the project were achieved in general and the achievements of the CDC in particular. This will be the direction of certified sustainable products, especially coffee – the most industry plant of Dak Lak.
After the workshop, Project Management Unit of Agricultural competitiveness project ACP Dak Lak has collected the opinions of all parties involved in the project and farmers to continue implementing the next component. Also, expanding the effective models to create favorable conditions for farmers in developing sustainable agriculture in the local area.
