Representatives of World Bank (WB) visiting and working at CDC

In the Afternoon of May 12th 2014, Representatives of World Bank (WB) and partners had a visit and meeting at Community Development Center.

WB is one of global Organization, be concerning and investing on Vietnam Agriculture, WB is also the investor for packages of Agriculture Competion Project (ACP), which CDC implemented in provinces of Gia Lai, Đăk Lăk, Lâm Đồng. In order to assess and find out the impacts of topics in component A of Daklak ACP project, WB had a visit and meeting with CDC.

At the meeting, Representatives of WB had high appriciation to impacts component A of Daklak ACP project, which CDC implemented to the farmers.

- Building the models and techniques transfer of coffee care according to sustainable way asVietGAP standard in Lam Dong province.
- Buiding and transfering the model of coffee production with SAN certified in Daklak;
- Buiding and transfering the model of coffee production with 4C certified in Gia Lai;
- Transfering the general technical measures to save input cost for coffee in Daklak…as well as showed the desire that CDC will expand the effective model and contribute opinion that CDC will continue implementing the next components of project.

About CDC. Mr Bạch Thanh Tuấn – director of CDC wants to continous cooperating with WB in buiding the next component of Daklak ACP project and keeping the cooperating relationship in sustainable Agriculture program in Vietnam in general and in Daklak in particular to help farmers increasing production and contributing to the development of Vietnam coffee sector.
