In June, Community Development Center (CDC) finished the training courses on 4C Code of Conduct and recording field book in the framework of project of sustainable Robusta coffee development, invested by Noble Resources Vietnam Limited Company, with the scale of over 800 participatory farmers, and with the area of 1.000 ha and the expected output of 3.000-4.000 tons of coffee bean.
This project is conducted in 3 districts of Bao Lam, Di Linh, Duc Trong and Bao Loc city in Lam Dong province. Through the training courses, the specialists of CDC introduced to farmers the details of 4C Code of Conduct, Inacceptable practices and especially in the interests of sustainable Robusta coffee program in compliance with 4C Code of Conduct, as well as the interests of economy, society and environment. Besides, the specialists also help farmers change farming habits by instructing to record field book to follow investment expenditure and economic efficiency in a scientific manner.

Mr. Đoàn Công Trung, a farmer in Bao Lam district, Lam Dong province says: “this is a necessary program for farmers. This standard helps us to enhance our awareness of sustainable production. We sincerely wish to get more support on instruction of caring techniques for coffee trees in order to get high capacity, good quality and stable price.”
Framers are eager to attend the training course implemented by CDC’s specialist.
