Project “Building model and transfering techniques towards sustainable coffee caring under VietGap standard ‘’

    
·         Time: From October 2012 to October 2013.
·         Location: Bảo Lâm District, Di Linh, Lâm Hà - Lâm Đồng province.
·         Sponsored unit: World Bank (WB).
·         Implementing Unit: Community Development Center (CDC).
·         General goal: Building model and transfering techniques towards sustainable coffee caring under VietGap standard to improve productivity, quality, increase the pest resistance, effeciency economic, improve the enviroment as well as create the stable raw coffee area.
·         Detail goals:
        - Developing the model of coffee producing performance as VietGAP standard, training coffee household about process of supplying VietGAP certification;
        - Popularing the knowledge and improve the awareness of coffee farmers to know the necessarity and keep applying the VietGAP into production.
        - Increasing Productivity up to 10% compare to before applying techniques, improving quality of product, increasing income up to 10 – 15%, rasing the effectivity of investment.
        - Impacting positively to environment: limiting environmental pollution (using chemical,fertilizer, watering reasonably), ensuring the health for people who directly produce.
        - Estimately, after applying model 3-5 years, it will develop and maintain about 50-100ha of coffee area applied VietGap standard as sustainable way in whole province, the product meets 100% safe quality to increase the price up to 3-5%
